Abstract classes should not have public constructors.
Constructors of abstract classes can only be called in constructors of their subclasses.
So there is no point in making them public.
The protected modifier should be enough.

The state is now expected to be passed only in the "state" parameter of the request.
As a result, the icon name can now contain hyphen(s).

This version adds the jul-to-slf4j bridge (FELIX-6027).
JUL is used by CXF and using the bridge we can use logback to reduce the verbosity of the info logging whenever org.apache.cxf.endpoint.ServerImpl creates endpoints.
